Campaign In Sorong, Anies Promises To Guarantee Solar Supply For Fishermen

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate number one, Anies Baswedan, met fishermen and fish traders at Pasar Ikan Jembatan Puri, Sorong, West Papua, to absorb aspirations so that they can improve fish prices to be more stable.

Anies in his press statement said traders wanted to repair the market roof more widely, so that the hot weather would not affect the freshness of the fish being sold.

Furthermore, fishermen channel their aspirations regarding capital needs and diesel fuel.

"So our program related to change is to hold diesel in a place that is the center of fishery fishing activities. The supply must have certainty, so that they can go to sea according to their needs," said the former Governor of DKI Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 16.

Anies also said that fish trading procedures need to be improved so that the fish price becomes more stable and needs to be pushed further.

"The promotion of fish as a good nutritional supply for families, this must be encouraged by adding more fish markets, especially in areas that are not on the coast. So that fish can reach all areas of price as well, the market is also getting bigger," said Anies.
