Competing With The Mahfud MD Task Force, TKN Prabowo-Gibran Forms A Complaint Post For Election Violation Violations
JAKARTA - The National Campaign Team (TKN) for Young Voters (Fanta) together with the Legal and Advocacy TKN (Echo) Prabowo-Gibran formed a Post for Complaining on Election Violations (P4) to accommodate reports related to irregularities in the 2024 General Election.
The Coordinator of Fanta Law, Andi Ryza Fardiansyah, said that the formation of this P4 TKN was also a response to the formation of an election complaint task force by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam), Mahfud MD.
"This post was formed to respond to the establishment of a post formed by Mr. Mahfud at the Kemenkopolhukam Office," said the Coordinator of Fanta Law Prabowo-Gibran, Andi Ryza Fardiansyah at the TKN Headquarters Fanta HQ, Jakarta, Monday, January 15.
TKN targets to form 500 complaint posts for election violations in various provinces and regencies/cities throughout Indonesia. TKN Fanta will also involve young advocates to oversee the peaceful and jurdil elections.
"So far, there have been issues as if Prabowo-Gibran had committed a violation. This is a discourse that deliberately wants to be played. Then we have to respond positively by complaining about every violation we see from other presidential candidates," explained Ryza.
Meanwhile, the Commander of the Prabowo-Gibran Echo (Hukum and Advocacy) Team, Hinca Panjaitan, emphasized that to this day there have been no election violations committed by candidate pair number 2. Although, many complaints were reported by other candidate pairs against Prabowo-Gibran.
"We make sure that there are no violations that have been accused of candidate pair 02 until today. So we want clarification once again, until today there have been no violations committed by candidate pair 02," he said.
On the other hand, said Hinca, his party actually recorded many violations committed by other candidate pairs. Therefore, TKN will also report the alleged election violation to the Task Force that has been formed by Mahfud MD.
"Because other candidate pairs often complain even though they don't exist. Meanwhile, according to our records, there are many violations, we must report them too. Incidentally, Mr. Mahfud as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs has a good idea. So that everyone can give their participation, straightening things out so that there are no violations," said Hinca.

Previously, Mahfud MD reasoned that he formed a complaint task force for election violations so that there would be no conflict of interest.
"I actually formed it so that there would be no conflict of interest. That is a permanent structure. And it has existed for a long time. And it does not handle the implementation of elections. There will be no conflict," Mahfud explained at Wisma Diocese Cathedral, Jakarta, Thursday, January 4.
