Rocket Lab Ready To Launch First Electron Rocket In 2024
JAKARTA The Rocket Electron owned by the Pocket Profits has launched again this year. In the near future, the two-stage orbital launcher will carry out the Four Of A Kind mission of Spire Global Inc.
Electron will take off from the Launch 1 Complex in Mahia, New Zealand on Thursday, January 18. This rocket will deploy four Space Situation Awareness (SSA) satellites belonging to Spire subscribers, namely NorthStar Earth and Space.
The satellite developed by Spire will be the first commercial satellite to monitor various objects from circular orbits. Data from the SSA will assist space companies in tracking, determining orbits, avoiding collisions, and navigating objects.
Rocket Lab said they had finished preparing all the needs of the Four of A Kind mission. In addition to ensuring that Electron is safe to launch, they have also prepared the payload for the mission.
Our (Electron's payload) has been arranged and ready to depart. The contents of the Spire Global and NorthStar sit safely inside the profits after integration and encapsulation at the Launch 1 Complex, "said Rocket Lab, quoted from its official account on platform X.

In addition to preparing the rocket and its payload, Rocket Lab is also preparing launch windows for their rockets. If the Electron launch fails on January 18, the company will set another date in January.
Rocket Lab has also designed a recovery for the Electron stage. After launch, the upper and first stages of Electron will experience separation. This first phase will fall to Earth with the help of an already installed parachute.
When this first stage lands, the Rocket Lab recovery ship will recall the engine to return to the 1st Launch Complex. The rocket stage will only be assessed because Rocket Lab has never reused the engines it has flown.
