YouTube Slows Down Website Access For Ad Blocking Users

JAKARTA YouTube uses new ways to block ad users. After suspending the account, YouTube is now slowing down the loading process on their website.

Users who still use ad blocking may think that YouTube's website is slow because of their bad network. In fact, YouTube deliberately does this so that users stop blocking ads to use free accounts.

From the 9to5google report, some users on Reddit said that they experienced it. According to them, websites have become slow due to ad blocking, moreover they get a notification that reads, Not optimal broadcast.

Systematically, YouTube will detect the blocking tool users use. Once detected, the system will automatically disrupt the experience. The only way to smooth the loading page of YouTube is to turn off the ad blocking.

This isn't the first time YouTube has prevented ad blocking users. Some time ago, YouTube urged its users to stop using ad blockers by blocking access to their websites.

Users' accounts will be blocked and YouTube will provide a message that, blocking ads violates YouTube's Terms of Service. This message will appear in the form of a pop-up and YouTube will provide the YouTube Advertising option.

When the option is clicked, users will be directed to stop blocking ads. If the account is still suspended, users will have to subscribe to YouTube Premium to reactivate their account.
