Premier League Prediction Sunday Night: Strengthened By Timo Werner, MU Must Be Alert To Face Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur are increasingly seeded after being confirmed to be strengthened by new player Timo Werner while visiting Manchester United headquarters, Old Trafford Stadium, in the Premier League competition, Sunday, January 14 at 23.30 WIB.
The player who usually operates in the front row will be one of the trios alongside Dejan Kulusevski and cap Johnson to support Richarlison who will become the sole striker.
Werner was recruited by Tottenham from German club RB Leipzig on loan at the mid-season transfer market, this January. He will be permanently purchased if he shows impressive performance until the end of this season.
The player who is now 27 years old has played for Chelsea in 2020-2022 after being signed from RB Leipzig. However, with the club based at Stamford Bridge he failed to shine.
He then returned to the German club and again performed satisfactorily. His achievements with the club from eastern Germany made Tottenham love him.
Werner is expected to sharpen the front row of the club based at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In this match, Werner will be one of the pillars of the single striker Richarlison.

The former Ajax goalkeeper promised to continue to defend Manchester United even though he had to play in the Africa Cup of Nations which was held at Ivory Coast.
Casemiro and Leandro Martinez have been training again after suffering injuries and their return is an impetus for Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag. However, Victor Lindelof, Mason Mount, and badminton Malacia remain absent.
In the Tottenham camp, Dejan Kulusevski has served a ban on playing and returning to duty in this party. However, Tottenham were hit hard because Giovanni Lo Celso would be absent again.
Pape Sarr, Yves Bissouma, and Son Heung-Min were all absent due to their respective participation in the Africa Cup of Nations and the Asian Cup. Sarr played for Senegal, Bissouma defended Mali, and Heung-Min appeared for South Korea.
Argentine defender Cristian Romero has recovered from a hamstring injury faster than expected and may start playing against MU, although Radu Dragusin is likely to appear from the start if he is registered on time. Similar to Werner, the defender who previously defended Genoa was brought in through a mid-season transfer.
Manchester United took their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Monday night and that means they have now won two of their last three games in all competitions. The Red Devils also won three of their last four home games against Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Tottenham also proved that they are not a team that is not easily defeated and must be watched out for. A 1-0 win over Burnley in the FA Cup on Friday night means Spurs have won five of their last six competitive matches.
However, they only won one of their last four away games. However, they believe they can get the top three points against the United team whose performance is not yet stable at this time.
