This is Palmer's ninth goal Chelsea recruited from Manchester City in the last minute before closing the player transfer window in the summer.

Palmer also confirmed as the most dangerous player at Chelsea. Score 1-0 for Chelsea when the first half is over.

Entering the second half, the host still controlled the game. But Fulham was not without a fight.

The best chance was won by striker Raul Jimenez in the 73rd minute. It's just that his brilliant shot was thwarted by goalkeeper Djardje Petrovic with one hand.

Furthermore, Chelsea captain Conor Gallagher almost extended the lead in the 83rd minute. But his shot from outside the penalty box still hit the post.

In that match, senior defender Ben Chilwell first returned to play after recovering from injury. Mauricio Pochettino's manager included Chilwell in the 77th minute. He replaced Sterling.
