Palestinian Defense Action Participants Leave US Embassy Orderly

JAKARTA - Global solidarity action for Gaza which was held to commemorate 100 days of Israel's genocide againstGaza, Palestine in front of the United States Embassy, Central Jakarta has been completed and the crowd is gradually leaving the location in an orderly manner.

Reported by ANTARA, in front of the United States Embassy, Central Jakarta, the masses began to leave the location at 09.00 WIB. Before the event was over, the masses read out Al-Fatihah once again and short letters for all Palestinians.

The return of the action participants was accompanied by the chants to defend Palestine while flying the Palestinian and Indonesian flags. They seemed to disperse slowly without pushing each other.

At the Palestinian Defense Action this time, thousands of people prayed for the safety and independence of the Palestinians. They also conveyed demands for Israel, such as a permanent ceasefire, and left the Indonesian Hospital not to be used as the headquarters of Israeli troops.

"Alhamdulillah, it's smooth. Indeed, we are also aiming for peace, so we have to take action in peace. The weather is also sunny and not hot as if Allah supports us all to defend brothers and sisters in Palestine," said Sri, who was a participant in the action from Bekasi when met in front of the United States Embassy, Saturday, January 13.

During the action, the police also deployed 1,400 security personnel to guard the Global Action Day for Gaza or 100 Gaza Genocide Days. The more than a thousand joint personnel consist of the TNI, Polri, DKI Regional Government and related agencies.

Security is focused around the US Embassy, Palace, Horse Statue area, HI Roundabout and Banteng Field. Thanks to the cooperation between security forces and the community, this time the Palestinian Defense Action looked peaceful and smooth.

The public also hopes that this action can attract the world's attention and have an impact on victory in Gaza, Palestine.
