Appearing On Twitch, Metallica Music Changed To Children's Songs
JAKARTA - Heavy metal giant Metallica is one of the performers at the Blizzcon event - an annual event for fans of the games Blizzard Entertainment that made Starcraft, Diablo, World of Warcraft.
The performance of this legendary band was broadcast on the Twitch service, but after just a few seconds of playing the music, their sound changed to 8-bit instrumental and closed their song.
Metallica is made to accompany music for children. Previously, fans thought this was Twitch's way to keep Metallica's music from being taken down.
According to the AV Club, this incident did not appear to be censorship but only surveillance. Metallica also has not responded to the video which is now going viral.
Meanwhile, Metallica will appear in the documentary Long Live Rock… Celebrate the Chaos, featuring rock and metal bands such as Slipknot, Guns N 'Roses, and Rage Against the Machine.
The documentary will focus on rock festivals in the United States and release interviews with Metallica drummers Lars Ulrich, Tom Morello (RATM), Slipknot's Corey Taylor, and Guns N 'Roses' Duff McKagan.
