"Once again, if it is true that I am considered to be wrong, I will not run away from my mistakes, I remain responsible. Never mind the death penalty, more than that I am ready for what is important for my community," said Edhy at the KPK building, Jakarta, Monday, February 22.

Edhy promised not to cover up the case and cooperate with the KPK. "I am not running from the mistakes that exist. Please proceed with the judicial process, that's why I did this. I will not run, and I am not talking that what I am doing must be right, no," said Edhy firmly.

According to Edhy, his decision should be noted through a ministerial regulation (Permen), giving permission to export lobster seeds is to fulfill the wishes of the community, not personally. Therefore, as a minister he made a Permen to allow the export of lobster seeds which was previously prohibited in the Susi Pudjiastuti era.

"The candy we made was not based on the wishes of the minister, but the desire of the people so that the lobster problem, which has not been allowed so far, has been caught by the people, catching lobsters cannot enjoy the natural resources that exist in our country, now we are turning it on. . "There are additional jobs for catching lobsters. One person for Rp5 thousand a day can earn 100, and there is 500 thousand in income. Who wants to give their money? The state itself is very limited for that," said Edhy.

In fact, Edhy was proud of the rules he made. With this regulation, the non-tax state revenue (PNBP) contribution from the Ministry of KKP sped up.

"You have to record yourself, how much PNBP we get during those 3 months, there is Rp. 40 billion already collected, compared to the old regulation, a thousand heads were only 250 rupiah. In my day at least 1 thousand head, so the money was collected," he said.

Meanwhile, Edhy Prabowo was named a suspect by the KPK after being caught in a hand arrest (OTT) some time ago. Edhy is accused of receiving a sum of money for the lobster seed export permit.
