JaKARTA - The music group Padi Reborn collaborated with the Gadjah Mada University (Kagama) Alumni Family to release the song Kagama Bhakti.
General Chairman of Kagama Ganjar Pranowo who is also the Governor of Central Java, gave his appreciation to Padi Reborn as a musician who has high concern and has a positive contribution to society.
"This song has very good values. Through the musicality of Mas Fadly, Mas Piyu, Mas Rindra, Mas Ari, and Mas Yoyo, this song is even more extraordinary. The song Kagama Bhakti, which was brought back by Padi Reborn, was previously created and arranged by Dika Sri Hapsari, an alumni of the UGM Faculty of Agriculture.
This three-minute song contains lyrics that describe the beauty of Indonesian nature and culture that need to be preserved and preserved. The lyrics also emphasize the commitment of all UGM alumni to unite and contribute to Indonesia.

Fadly added, this song has a strong magical power, with a harmonious musical notation and a lyrical verse that reflects a love for nature and Indonesian culture.
Meanwhile, guitarist Satriyo Yudi Wahono or Piyu shared his surprise when he was asked to work on the song Kagama Bhakti. Moreover, none of Padi Reborn's personnel are alumni of the Yogyakarta-based campus.
"However, after talking with Kagama administrators, we were made aware that this collaboration became a symbol that Kagama is an inclusive organization and is open for anyone to work together, as long as the goal is to contribute positively to the nation," explained Piyu.
The band Padi Reborn has recently been known to be increasingly active in producing music for non-commercial purposes. Previously in October last year, Padi Reborn together with the COVID-19 Handling Task Force also released the song Remember Mother's Message.
