OTT Labuhanbatu Regent Allegedly Related To Procurement Of Goods And Services
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed the hand arrest operation (OTT) of the Regent of Labuhanbatu, North Sumatra, Erik Adtrada Ritonga related to the procurement of goods and services. It is suspected that bribery transactions occurred in the process.
"Meanwhile, it's also about the procurement of goods and services. It's like usual," said KPK Temporary Chair Nawawi Pomolango to reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, January 11.
Nawawi admitted that he did not know in more detail about the procurement that led to the silent operation. He only said that Erik had indeed been caught with other parties, one of which was the Acting Head of the Labuhanbatu Health Service (Kadis).
"We don't know for sure what goods and services are procured. Only one of them, there is also a regent, it seems," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, said that Erik was not caught alone in the active action. "So far, more than 10 people have been arrested," he said in a written statement.

As previously reported, KPK Deputy Chair Nurul Ghufron said his men in the silent operation found money. However, the number has not been informed.
"Currently we have secured several parties, some money, and other evidence," said Ghufron in a written statement, Thursday, January 11.
The party caught in the silent operation is still undergoing investigation, including Erik. It is suspected that bribery transactions will occur when OTT is carried out.
"We are still conducting investigations and deepening. After we finish we update it," he concluded.
