Dewas Duga Ada Pimpinan KPK Lain Yang Langgar Etik Di Kasus SYL
JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that other leaders committed ethical violations while handling the corruption case of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo. A number of witnesses have been questioned.
"There are other complaints (about ethical violations of the KPK leadership, ed), which are still being investigated, only clarification, at first," said KPK Supervisory Board member Albertina Ho to reporters at the ACLC Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10.
Albertina has not yet detailed the identity of the head of the anti-corruption commission, which is currently being investigated. However, this process was carried out to follow up on incoming complaints.
This complaint is also different from the ethical violations that ensnared former KPK chairman Firli Bahuri, said Albertina. Although the suspicion is related to the corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).
"Not (with Firli, ed) other cases. Later (the explanation), at the beginning we talked about what, if it's already (complete, red) we'll also tell you," said Albertina.
Meanwhile, the current KPK Council has difficulty summoning a number of parties for questioning. They are the inactive Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono and Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

After being examined, Syahrul was reluctant to comment on the request for information, because he considered that it was not the realm of providing information to the public.
"Of course I am not competent (explaining, ed)," said Syahrul to reporters at the ACLC Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10.
Likewise with Kasdi, who refused to provide information to the public about his examination. He submitted it to the KPK Council even though he admitted that there were questions related to alleged ethical violations committed by the head of the anti-corruption commission.
"There were a few earlier (questions about the leadership of the KPK)," said Kasdi after being examined.
