Disdik Watches Teacher Netrality In Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan Facing The 2024 General Election
The Palangka Raya City Education Office (Disdik) continues to monitor the activities of teachers in the local area to ensure neutrality in the 2024 simultaneous elections.
"The 2024 election voting will be held in February and is currently in the campaign stage. Related to this, all teachers must maintain neutrality and not get involved in practical politics. We will also carry out tiered monitoring," said the Head of the Palangka Raya City Education Office. Meanwhile, Acting Mayor of Palangka Raya Hera Nugrahayu said that currently his party also continues to strengthen the commitment to local ASN neutrality in the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous General Election.
"We continue to strive so that ASN maintains a professional attitude, especially now that we have entered the election period which is prone to conflicts of interest," said Hera.

Hera explained that efforts to strengthen the commitment to ASN neutrality were carried out through socialization of handling conflicts of interest, enforcement of the ASN code of ethics and discipline in order to maintain ASN neutrality within the Palangka Raya City Government.
"ASN must be free from conflicts of interest and uphold a neutral and professional attitude and focus on serving the community," he said.
He emphasized that ASN must be neutral and free from any party intervention and not side with any candidate as mandated by Law Number 5/2014.
"If it is proven that ASN is involved in practical politics or does not maintain the dignity of ASN, they will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable laws," he concluded.
