Lazier Dog And Ivanka Slank Collaborate Through SAIKO Song

JAKARTA - The Lazya Dog alias rulionzzo (Boyz Got No Brain) collaborated with Ivanka Slank in reworking the song SAIKO, which first appeared to the public in 2002.

In this single project, they are not only alone, this collaboration also involves other musicians, such as Xaqaqa (Boyz Got No Brain) and Fauzan Lubis (Sisitipsi).

Even though it has been 22 years since, SAIKO still sounds relevant. This song loudly voiced the crazy' that has occurred in various parts of the country since 2002 until now. Criticism of socio-political conditions is very clearly expressed through song lyrics.

Tahun 2002 itu sudah gila, 2023 masa semakin gila! kata Dog Pelalas dalam keterangannya, Senin, 8 Januari.

Released through EVERYDAYINDO RECORDS, Lazier Dogs and Ivanka were also assisted by Jason Latuhasan on the keyboards/synth and Viki Vikantra (Roet Flying Group) as an engineer.

This single contains a historical and fresh impression. SAIKO describes the 'Potlot' golden age through the composition of music with today's technology, but does not eliminate the oldschool feel from the 'Potlot'.

Meanwhile, the Lazier Dog is known as the only rapper who graduated from Potlot. He debuted in the early 2000s with Ivanka as a producer.

For information, the collaboration of Lazier Dogs and Ivanka Slank through the song SAIKO can already be heard on various digital music platforms.
