TNI's Commitment To The 2024 Election: TNI Netrality, Unnegotiable Principles
One of the TNI's identities is the people's army, because the process of struggle for the establishment of the country has begun to this day.
"The TNI is always with the people," said the Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Dr. R. Nugraha Gumilar, M.Sc., in a written release, Saturday, January 6.
There is no doubt about the neutrality of the TNI at the 2024 General Election event, even the TNI has launched the TNI Netrality Complaints Post at the end of 2023.
"The TNI upholds the neutrality of the TNI in the 2024 General Election, it is final," said Kapuspen TNI.
He added that the neutrality of the TNI was a fixed price, as stated by the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto on various occasions.
According to him, the TNI Commander consistently emphasized that the neutrality of the TNI is a non-negotiable principle. The TNI also hopes that the 2024 election will take place safely and peacefully.
Meanwhile, the order of the TNI Commander regarding neutrality has been clear and conveyed to all personnel, with the threat of strict sanctions for violating the order.
In addition, he added, the TNI Commander also ordered his staff to exercise restraint, avoid provocation, and manipulation by irresponsible elements.
Not only that, the TNI Commander also according to him has ordered TNI members to always behave well and help the people's difficulties.
"To all TNI soldiers, wherever you are, maintain the neutrality of the TNI, maintain security and peace, help, and be a solution to overcome the difficulties of the community around their respective places of duty," added Kapuspen TNI.

On this occasion, the Head of the TNI also appealed to all levels of society to carry out the 2024 General Election in a safe and peaceful manner, as well as to maintain security and order with each other.
"Stop spreading fake news (hoaxes), respect and respect each other between elements of the nation as the noble culture of the Indonesian nation," he concluded.
