JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 rocked Japan, on Monday, January 1. The earthquake triggered a tsunami wave. According to the Japan Meteorogical Agency (JMA), tsunami warnings have been given. One area that was reported to have a tsunami wave as high as 40 centimeters to 1.3 meters, according to JMA, was the port of Wakima in Ishikawa.
