Ganjar-Mahfud Volunteers Become Victims Of Beating TNI Persons In Boyolali, Commander: Army Chief Of Staff Has Ordered Cases

JAKARTA - TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto spoke about the presence of soldiers suspected of ganging up on volunteers from Presidential Candidates and Vice Presidential Candidates number three, Ganjar-Mahfud.

According to him, the matter has been handled by Kodim 0724/Boyolali. In fact, the TNI has given satuan as an accountability measure.

"So the Dandim has made a statement about the incident in Boyolali. Then, the Dandim has also taken steps to provide compensation and so on," Agus told reporters quoted on Monday, January 1.

Furthermore, regarding the prosecution process, Agus said that later the TNI AD would follow up. This is because the Army Chief of Staff, General Maruli Simanjuntak, is said to have ordered to thoroughly investigate the case.

"I think that's the domain of the Army Chief of Staff, yes. The Army Chief of Staff has ordered the relevant units to handle the problem," said Agus.

The beating or persecution was circulated and went viral on social media. It was stated that 7 Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers were victims.

President Ganjar Pranowo's candidate said that the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) was investigating cases of abuse experienced by a number of its volunteers.

"We ask the winning team to immediately take care of it and now the legal team is investigating the matter," said Ganjar

Ganjar admitted that he was sorry for the incident that happened to his volunteers. This is because one of the cases of persecution resulted in the death of his volunteers.

"I'm sorry, yesterday I was informed that a volunteer died," said Ganjar
