No Vehicle Queues At Bakauheni Port Ahead Of The 2024 New Year Celebration
JAKARTA - Backflow activity at Bakauheni Port, South Lampung before New Year's Eve 2024, Sunday 31 December, was busy smoothly.
Based on Antara's report, Sunday, December 31 to 15.30 WIB, vehicles are dominated by travelers who want to cross to Java Island.
The flow of passengers was observed smoothly, both in the executive dock area and the regular dock.
The atmosphere of the parking bag at Bakauheni Port today also looks like a normal day. The port entrance in the vehicle checking area is busy and smooth, and does not show any queues of vehicles.
General Manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Bakauheni Branch Rudi Sunarko in Bakauheni, said that his party had recorded the number of passengers of 3,955 four-wheeled vehicles, the number of cars had increased from the previous day which was only 3,866 cars.
He appealed to ferry service users to buy Ferizy tickets from far away.
"So we urge prospective travelers from Sumatra to Java who will use ASDP crossing services to buy tickets from far away," he said.

PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has imposed a new provision for purchasing online tickets for ferries starting December 11, 2023. This provision applies to Bakauheni Port, Merak Port, Ketapang Port, and Gilimanuk Port.
The new provision is that the ferry ticket booking can be made up to a maximum radius of five kilometers before the port.
This provision is stipulated in the Letter of the Director General of Hubdat AP.406/1/5/DJPD/2023 regarding the Arrangement of Electronic Ticket Ordering Services around the Port.
