SKK Migas Bersama Pertamina Hulu Rokan Melakukan Tujak Sumur Explorasi Mibasa-1X
JAKARTA Ahead of the close of 2023, the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) together with the Pertamina Hulu Rokan Cooperation Contract Contractor (KKKS) carried out the Mibasa-1X exploration well tax on Saturday, December 30 at 21.00 WIB in Siak Regency, Riau Province.
Head of the SKK Migas Program and Communication Division, Hudi D. Suryodipuro, said that SKK Migas together with KKKS will continue to be committed to implementing exploration well drilling work programs until the end of the year.
"We continue to encourage KKKS to complete all work programs to be carried out according to the target, especially the implementation of exploration drilling. We hope that Sumur Mibasa-1X can provide good news with the discovery of large reserves following several previous findings that fall into the giant disclosure category," said Hudi in his official statement, Sunday 31 December.
Hudi said that apart from watching well drilling, all management and the Head of the SKK Migas Division also visited several KKKS fields to monitor year-end lifting activities.
"Of course, visits to the KKKS field are an important part in monitoring and evaluating the progress of activities. With direct interaction in the field, we can resolve obstacles that affect year-end lifting activities," he said.
Thus, Hudi conveyed that these efforts were to maximize and ensure smooth operation at the end of the year to be more focused and measurable.
According to Hudi Sumur Mibasa-1X itself will be drilled with a directed (directional) hole design using Rig BDSI-27 (750 HP) with a planned final depth of 3,864 ftMD.
Head of the SKK Migas Drilling and Well Division, Surya Widyantoro, explained that the exploration well drilling activity was intended to test and evaluate the hydrocarbon content contained in the Telissa Formation and Basement Formation with a reserve amount of around 28.87 MMBOE (Million Barrels of Oil Equivalent).
"Currently, the status of the Mibasa-1X well drilling operation is drilling a 17-1/2 hole with a depth target at 607 ftMD," said Surya.
The Mibasa-1X Well drilling program will be implemented within the next 40.6 days, including with well testing activities.
"We hope that all Mibasa-1X Well drilling activities can be carried out well and without any obstacles until the end of the activity, for that we ask for support from all stakeholders involved to support the success of this activity," concluded Surya.
