Acting Governor Of Southeast Sulawesi Pamerkan Achievements Of Priority Programs In The Field Of Welfare

Acting Governor of Southeast Sulawesi Andap Budhi Revianto has completed five priority programs in the field of community welfare or Welfare. This achievement was conveyed through a year-end note which also contains short reports to the public.

Andap has been the governor's official since September 5. There are a number of work focuses that have been carried out with policy makers in Southeast Sulawesi.

"I got the assignment as Acting Governor of Southeast Sulawesi for 117 days in 2023. Short time of assignment in 2023, I focus on several strategic steps," Andap said in a written statement, Saturday, December 30.

Then in the field of education and culture, there are a number of programs that have been implemented, said Andap. One of them is the distribution of the Smart Indonesia Program for 49,058 students at the SMA/SMK/SLB level in 17 districts and cities as well as scholarships for 167 outstanding students at Halu Oleo University, 19 November University, and IAIN Kendari.

"In this field of intimacy, we also held the Wakatobi Waves cultural festival on November 2 to 6, 2023 in Wakatobi Regency. Then, the Karnival Anniversary on December 2 to December 3, 2023 in Kendari City," he said.

The next achievement that has been carried out is to improve the service of the Puskesmas to the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) in Konawe Islands Regency. Then there is also the distribution of entrepreneurial equipment for 54 MSME groups in Konawe Regency, as well as distributing BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions to 10 thousand vulnerable workers and extreme poor workers in Kendari City.

While in the field of social life and legal protection and human rights, Andap said there were several programs that had been implemented. Among them, the provision of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for 3,900 elderly in 9 districts and cities with a total budget of Rp 3.9 billion.

Furthermore, there is also the distribution of grant funds for 29 mosque administrators in Wakatobi Regency as well as the establishment of the 2023 Business and Human Rights Regional Task Force in Southeast Sulawesi Province. "In the fifth area, namely infrastructure and the environment, we have also implemented a number of programs," said Andap.

"Among them are soft launching the use of the Kadia River Twin Road-Jalan Z. A. Sugianto-Jalan H. E. A. Mokodompit as well as the distribution of 18 units of amrol tubs or trash bins in Kendari City and South Konawe Regency," he continued.

These various achievements, continued Andap, did not make the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government complacent. He said there would be many challenges in the new year, especially for the welfare of the people, especially those related to the 2024 presidential election.

"We will guarantee the neutrality of ASN in the Presidential and Legislative Elections, as well as Pilkada. I hope that our struggle in 2024 will be more focused and measurable. The priority scale focuses on the realization of the welfare of the people of Southeast Sulawesi," he said.
