The National Police Chief Removed The Kupang Police Chief, Allegedly Related To The Abuse Of Positions
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has removed Kombes Rishian Krisna from being the Kapolresta Kupang Kota. The removal is suspected to be related to a violation of abuse of office.
"He abused his position to commit a violation. It is still being investigated (in the form of a violation) so it cannot be conveyed," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Friday, December 29.
Based on information, Kombes Rishian Krisna is suspected of stumbling in the case of cutting the 2024 election security fund allowance for members of the Kupang City Police.
However, to prove this allegation, Kombes Rishian Krisna is currently still undergoing intensive examination.
"So the alleged abuse is still being investigated. Currently, it is still under Paminal investigation by the National Police Headquarters," he said.
After being removed from his position, Kombes Rishian Krisna was transferred as a servant of the National Police Headquarters (Yanma).
"The person concerned was transferred to Yanma for examination," said Ramadhan

Previously reported, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo rotated 483 members. The transfer of positions was stated in three Telegram Letters (ST) number ST/2864/XII/KEP./2023, ST/2865/XII/KEP./2023, and ST/2866/XII/KEP//2023./2023.
Of the three STs, there are several Bhayangkara Corps personnel who have been transferred to demotion and restoration of rights or rehabilitation.
