Zeekr 007 Officially Launches, The World's Fastest Charging Electric Sedan
AKARTA - Zeekr has officially introduced the 007 sedan, which is designed to compete with the Tesla Model 3 at prices ranging from 209,900 yuan or around Rp458 million to the most expensive version of 299,900 yuan or equivalent to Rp654 million.
Reporting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, December 28, the launch price of the basic model was lower by 20,000 yuan, reaching 229,900 yuan or around Rp501 million. Zeekr plans to start shipping on January 1, while mass production started last week.
The sedan offers two 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options developed by Zeekr itself, providing a maximum range of CLTC up to 688 km. The company's claim is as an LFP powered sedan with the best reach.
Another advantage is that the battery's ability to increase the range by 500 km in just 15 minutes. The peak charging power reaches 500 kW, with the maximum charging rate reaching 4.5C. At temperatures of -10 degrees Celsius, fast charging speeds increased by 25%.
The second battery option is Qilin 100 kWh CATL, which uses more expensive NMC chemicals with a better energy density. This option provides a maximum range of up to 870 km. Thanks to the 800V architecture, the battery can cover a distance of 610 km in 15 minutes, being the best among all electric vehicles.
The design of this sedan carries a new design language called "hidden energy" developed by Stefan Sielaff's team, a former Bentley designer. The car was built on the 4.865 mm long-dimensional PMA2+ platform, 1,900 mm wide, 1,450 mm high, and 2.928 mm wheelbase.
