Dino Patti Djalal's Family Land Mafia Case, Police: Different From Street Crime
JAKARTA - The police explain the reasons behind the three police reports (LP) in the land mafia case that made the family of former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dino Patti Djalal a victim.
Director of the General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Tubagus Ade Hidayat said victim Zurni Hasyim Djalal, who is the mother of Dino Patti Djalal, only knew about this long after the crime occurred.
"Three prisons were not reported within one day, no. One entered, processed, several months later made another report because they realized that", Tubagus told reporters, Friday, February 19.
According to him, the victim just found out that he was a crime victim because the land mafia case was different from street crime. This is because victims of the land mafia will not immediately notice it.
So, it is suspected that there is still unknown certificate forgery. For that, currently, his party is still tracking it.
"It could be that there are still other objects for victims with the same objects, so there will be new LP songs for other objects and so on", he said.
The police have arrested dozens of suspects in the land mafia case with the family victim Dino Patti Djalal. The dozens of suspects were arrested based on three police reports.
"From the disclosure of these three police reports, there are 15 suspects who can be arrested. Each prison has 5 suspects", he said.
Of the dozens of suspects, they have different roles. One of them is an intellectual actor in a land mafia case. But again, the matter was not clearly conveyed.
"In carrying out their actions, these land mafia groups share roles. Some act as intellectual actors, some act as parties who prepare facilities and infrastructure", he said again.
