Lukas Enembe's Body Arrives At Soetta Airport, Ready To Fly To Jayapura

TANGERANG - The body of the former Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, finally arrived at the Criminal Cargo of Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta), Tangerang City.

VOI monitoring at the Soekarno Hatta Airport Cargo Terminal, Tangerang City, Wednesday, December 27, at 21:13 WIB, a white ambulance was seen containing the body of Lukas Enembe.

His arrival was escorted by police officers, five buses and a bus containing relatives and sympathizers of Lukas Enembe.

They walked in a convoy from Sentosa Funeral Home, Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta.

Hundreds of relatives and relatives of Lukas Enembe were seen. They documented the coffin of Lukas Enembe.

For information, the body of Lukas Enembe will be flown to Sentani Airport, Jayapura. It is estimated that it will arrive on Thursday, December 28, morning.

One of Lukas Enembe's relatives asked his family and several colleagues to immediately return to the bus to Terminal 3 of Soetta Airport.

"We will depart at 23.00 WIB, please return (the car) we will go to Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport," said one of the relatives loudly.

Lukas Enembe Dies

Lukas Enembe passed away on Tuesday, December 26, while undergoing legal proceedings for corruption cases.

Lukas Enembe was found guilty of accepting bribes, and sentenced to 10 years in prison, a fine of Rp. 1 billion and a replacement money of Rp. 47.8 billion.

In addition to the bribery case, Lukas Enembe was named a suspect in the alleged money laundering case. Deputy Chairman of the KPK Johanis Tanak said the investigation into the case that ensnared Lukas was stopped because Lukas died.
