Police Will Summon Lapo Owner Who Allegedly Slaughtered A Dog Named Chloe
TANGERANG - Police continue to investigate the case of the alleged Slaughter of a Bamboo dog named Chloe at a restaurant in the Tangerang City area.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang City Metro Police, Kompol Rio Mikael Tobing, said he would summon the reported party to confirm the truth of the case.
In addition, the police also invited a number of witnesses to the complainant to reveal indications of the guard against Chloe.
"That's right, mas. We'll invite the parties later," Rio said when confirmed, Wednesday, December 27.
Meanwhile, the Head of Animal Defenders Indonesia (ADI) Doni Herdaru, explained the chronology based on the narrative of the owner of Chloe.
Doni explained, it started when the dog owner took Chloe to a shophouse to accompany him to work. Chloe is suspected of leaving the shop without the owner knowing. Realizing that his pet was not there, the shophouse security officer was asked. The officer replied that he had indeed seen a dog released.
"Meeting security, giving information that at around 07.00 a.m. there was a loose dog. For fear of the dog, security officers and friends called people across from the sub-district office. And next to the restaurant lapo to handle Chloe," said Doni.

Dog owners kept looking for Chloe until they traced a lapo, a restaurant. Apparently, the owner saw his dog found dead. He suspected it was Chloe, but the restaurant denied it.
"'I told the (suspected) perpetrator that Chloe's body I would bring it to be buried. He (the alleged perpetrator) had said 'how come'? Finally I said 'I don't want to, I will take it to law on this matter. The perpetrator replied 'Please take it to the police, and please take the dog's body'," said Doni.
The alleged perpetrator said that the dog's body in the lapo restaurant died because it was entangled. However, his party did not just believe it, Chloe's owner checked the body of the dog that Chloe allegedly belonged to.
The perpetrator argued that this dog died while tied to a tree. "I don't believe it, sir. If you die, you are stuck in a tree, why do you have a cut on the neck like an animal, "he said.
On that basis, the dog owner reported the restaurant to the police. The report numbered LP/B/1773/XII/2023/SPKT/Polres Metro Tangerang City/Polda Metro Jaya.
"We hope that it will act further immediately. We get information from below that there is already attention about this case. It will be followed up by property, we believe that the police will be profersional," he said.
