AMIN Legal Team Records And Report Cases Of Alleged Election Violations

JAKARTA - The Anies-Muhaimin National Law Team (AMIN) stated that it had recorded and reported a number of election violations to related parties, which it hoped was immediately followed up so that public trust was maintained.

"We have recorded all lists of violations, and we have made reports to relevant agencies," said the General Chair of the AMIN National Law Team, Ari Yusuf Amir in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 26.

Ari said that the legal team had found allegations of election violations, both in the form of money politics, distribution of items that were not allowed, and so on to Bawaslu and other law enforcers.

According to Ari, his party will convey a number of alleged election violations at the end of the year, but what is clear is that many cases have been reported.

He hopes that the reports that have been submitted can be followed up by related parties, so that the authorities can gain trust from the community.

"We have reported to Bawaslu regarding money politics. However, we hope that all officers, both law enforcement and election organizers, will act fairly by receiving these reports," he said.

He said that when the report was rejected, the reason had to be given and when it was responded, it had to be announced to the general public so that it was known.

Ari asked all AMIN volunteers when finding a campaign violation to directly take photos or videos using makeshift tools, so that they can be used as evidence.

"Our report must be responded to, otherwise why should there be a reason," he said.
