JAKARTA - Fontaines DC, Massive Attack and Young Fathers teamed up on a limited edition single of 12' to support the charity Mredecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

The release, which can now feature material from Fontaines and collaboration between Young Fathers and Massive Attack, as well as covers and prints designed by Robert Del Naja.

The 100 percent profit from this single will be donated to the charity to assist their emergency operations in Gaza and the West Bank.

In a statement, artists also called for an immediate ceasefire in the region, "in solidarity with the Palestinian people who live under brutal military operations".

The back of the cover contains a quote from the hospital's whiteboard in Gaza written by MSF medical officer Dr. Mahmoud Abu Nujaila: Anyone who survives until the end will tell his story. We did what we could. Remember us". Nujaila was killed a few weeks later.

There are no further details about the songs on this single, but it is already available. In addition, there will also be large sales of the single artwork signed by artists in limited editions.

3D of Massive Attack said: Horror views that occur every hour in Gaza, with hospitals and schools being bombed to dust and innocent civilians, journalists and doctors killed in countless numbers have become much worse with a sad political failure of more than ten weeks."

"We are amazed by the medical officers of Doctors Without Borders who risked their lives to help innocent civilians in Gaza. This ceasefire agreement is a tribute to them, and their extraordinary hard work in a truly unsophisticated state. We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people".

DC's phontaines joined millions of people around the world in demanding an immediate ceasefire and an end to Israel's brutal occupation of Palestine, Irish band Fontaines DC added.

Since October, Doctors Without Borders have been in Gaza, where every human being is the target of the IDF, risking their lives to provide essential care to thousands of people injured by Israel's indiscriminate attacks on people who are starving and helpless.

"We feel very helpless with what we can do right now, but we hope our small contribution to this achievement can raise much needed funds for Doctors Without Borders in Gaza. Ceasefire Now. Free the Palestinians," said Doctors Without Borders.

The music scene continues to respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Israel and Gaza, where Stormzy and Clairo announced last week that they would appear at charity events in New Jersey on January 4 to raise funds for Gaza and Sudan.

Meanwhile earlier this month, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were seen attending a fundraising event for Gaza at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. However, there was no official statement from either of them regarding the purpose of their attendance at the event.
