A Total Of 137 Churches In Central Jakarta Have Been Guarded By Forkopimko Joint Officers Ahead Of Tomorrow's Christmas Celebration
Central Jakarta Metro Police together with the City Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimko) will secure 137 churches in Central Jakarta ahead of the 2023 Christmas celebration.
"We conducted a survey assessment of 137 churches. We secured all churches in worship ahead of Christmas celebrations," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed, Sunday, December 24.
Later, security in a number of large and small churches will be carried out jointly by joint Forkopimko officers.
"We Forkopimko come down to advance security for pilgrims who will carry out Christmas," he said.
Meanwhile, based on information compiled by VOI, the National Police Chief and the Regional Police Chief will conduct a review of church security in the context of holding the 2023 Christmas Mass at the Reformed Millennium Center Church, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Sunday, December 24, later this afternoon.
