Traffic On Toll Roads To Soetta Airport Increases 10.83 Percent On D-3 Christmas
JAKARTA - Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad recorded an increase in traffic flow on D-7 to D-3 Christmas Day 2023 or period 18 to 22 December 2023 on the toll road leading to Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) Tangerang, Banten. Traffic is distributed through two Toll Gates (GT), namely Cengkareng Toll Road Sedyatmo and GT Benda Utama 2 Kunciran-Cengkareng Toll Road.
"A total of 563,784 vehicles or an increase of 10.83 percent compared to the normal traffic volume of transaction traffic, namely 508,692 transaction vehicles leaving Jakarta via Soekarno-Hatta Airport," said Marketing and Communication Department Head of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Panji Satriya in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday.
An increase in the volume of transaction traffic was observed at GT Cengkareng, an increase of 10.22 percent or realized 430,802 vehicles compared to normal traffic of 390,855 vehicles.
Then an increase in the volume of transaction traffic also occurred at GT Benda Utama 2, recorded an increase of 18.02 percent or realized 137,834 vehicles compared to the normal transaction traffic volume of 117,837 vehicles.
Jasa Marga predicts that the peak of the 2023 Christmas homecoming flow will fall on Saturday, December 23, 2023. A total of 48,462 vehicles are predicted to cross GT Kalihurip Utama (Kalitama) towards Bandung or an increase of 16.27 percent compared to normal daily traffic.

Jasa Marga also appealed to road users to only use the same 1 e-toll for payments on toll roads with closed transaction systems such as the Cipularang and Padaleunyi Toll Roads and the JORR II Toll Road.
One e-toll for transactions when tapping at the toll gate enters and uses the same e-toll to tap at the exit toll gate.
