These Are Mahfud MD's Three Strategies To Increase Indonesia's Foreign Exchange And Exports

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Mahfud MD revealed that there are three strategies that will be carried out in increasing Indonesia's foreign exchange and exports.

Mahfud explained that the first strategy that will be carried out is to prioritize economic diplomacy.

"First, prioritizing economic diplomacy, so that the ambassadors who were abroad, according to Pak Jokowi, when we were first appointed the ambassador was the economic ambassador. Optimize diplomacy with other countries," said Mahfud during the 2024 Cawapres Debate, Friday 22 December

Mahfud conveyed his next strategy of integrating national trade for global trade and increasing national products to international standards.

In addition, Mahfud said that he would prioritize strengthening the national economy to support Indonesia's export performance.

"Then, we will prioritize strengthening the national economy. So that the national economy can also grow inward, so that later it enters the second strategy, that the quality of our merchandise can be accepted abroad and productively," he explained.
