Following In The Footsteps Of Bimbim And Mezzaluna, Lula Falls Into The Music World Via Debut Album

JAKARTA - Tallulah Gifty Natura alias Lula released her debut album titled Curhat Lula today, Friday, December 22. That way, the 17-year-old girl followed in the footsteps of her father, Bimbim and sister, Mezzaluna to the music world.

Lula said her interest in the music world had been around since childhood. Moving teenagers, Lula decided to debut as a singer by making a big breakthrough, an album containing eight songs.

In accordance with the album title, all songs were written by Lula herself. He called his father and brother who first wrote songs as inspiration.

"From the music genre and the lyrics can be included in several categories, some from my dreams, my experience and my own observations," said Lula during a press conference in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, Friday, December 22.

Bimbim agrees with what his youngest daughter said. He said that Lula's talent in writing songs had been seen since childhood. In fact, interest in music can be seen when Lula is happy to be invited to the Slank concert.

"From a young age, he was seen, what he was talking about was made into lyrics. If we say something wrong, he says 'Pa, talk is prayer', and that's his song," said Bimbim.

"And I didn't expect it because at home (Lula) the people were quiet, but when I wrote the song it turned out to be a waw," he continued.

Produced directly by Bimbim in the production of his debut album, Lula is also the first artist from Biru Musik Island, a sub-label from Slank Records.

Of the eight songs in Curhat Lula, I Think I'm In Love With You was chosen as the mainstay single. A song with the theme of teenage romance with simple lyrics.

Assisted by Fajar Bustomi as a producer, Lula also directed a video clip for I Think I'm In Love With You. In the video clip, Lula not only displays singing skills, but also dances.

"If you look at the video clip, there is me dancing, that's the choreography, I made it myself the night before filming," said Lula.
