2,464 Personnel Secure The Debate Of Vice Presidential Candidates At The Jakarta Convention Center

JAKARTA - A total of 2,464 personnel were deployed to secure the debate of vice presidential candidates (cawapres) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Friday 22 December. "The total security of 2,464 personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, in his statement, Friday, December 22. Trunoyudo detailed that the 2,464 personnel consisted of 166 Satgaspus personnel, 298 Satgasres and 2,000 Satgasda personnel. Trunoyudo added that his party was also preparing traffic engineering to prevent congestion around the debate area. Nevertheless, he said that traffic engineering is still situational. "For traffic engineering it is still situational," he said. Previously, the General Election Commission (KPU) would hold a second debate for the 2024 General Election or the vice presidential debate at JCC, Central Jakarta, Friday night.

The theme of the vice presidential debate will raise economic themes (congestion and digital), finance, taxes, and governance of the APBN-APBD, investment, trade, infrastructure, and urban affairs. The debate will be guided by two moderators, Alfito Deannova Ginting and Liviana Cherlisa. Meanwhile, the debate material is discussed by 11 panelists that have been set by the KPU.
