The Reasons Behind Vigit Waluyo's Detention: Potentially Set Other Match Scores
JAKARTA - The National Police's Anti-Mafia Task Force detained Vigit Waluyo and two other suspects, namely DRN and KM in the alleged match fixing case in Liga 2. The reason is that investigators receive information that they have the potential to commit a similar crime.
"Investigators have received information that there is a potential for repetition of criminal acts committed by suspects that still need to be investigated," said Wadirtipidsiber Bareskrim Polri Kombes Dani Kustoni to reporters, Wednesday, December 20.
In addition, detention was carried out to make it easier for investigators to develop the case of fixing the score.
The detention of the three was carried out after the three-hour examination process started from 10.00 WIB to 13.00 WIB.
They were asked a different number. For Vigit Waluyo, 8 questions were asked, while DRN and KM each had 6 questions.
"The substance of the examination of the suspects is the first to deepen the cooperation relationship between VW, DRN, KM and GAS, which are currently DPO suspects," he said.
"The presence of GAS is thought to be known to ileh Sausara VW. Then, dig up new information regarding VW's involvement related to alleged match fixing practices in other matches," continued Doni.
