COVID-19 Cases In Central Java Are Said To Be Still Under Control, The Most In Semarang

SOLO - The Central Java Provincial Health Office assessed that the transmission of COVID-19 in its area was still under control with the number of COVID-19 sufferers as many as 39 people.

"Most of these are in Semarang, Solo currently has zero cases," said Head of the Central Java Provincial Health Office Yunita Dyah Suminar in Solo as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 20.

Nevertheless, he appealed to residents to continue to apply a clean and healthy lifestyle to avoid disease transmission.

"People sometimes when COVID-19 disappears keep forgetting again. So they are reminded," he said, adding, "I hope the respiratory pain is related to wearing a mask so it doesn't spread to other people."

Yunita advised residents to exercise regularly and get enough rest so that their immune system remains strong so they are not susceptible to disease.

Regarding the handling of COVID-19 patients, Yunita explained that the local government had prepared health service facilities.

"For the ER hospital 24 hours, the health center is hospitalized for 24 hours throughout Central Java. God willing, our preparations are quite good. There is no COVID-19 referral hospital, everyone must be able to accept it," he said.

The local government has not implemented a health check rule for residents who want to travel because the transmission of COVID-19 is considered still under control in Central Java.

However, Yunita advised residents who have not received a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccination to immediately access vaccination service facilities provided by the government.

"You can come to certain health centers that provide and the Health Office coordinates. It is more about public awareness to carry out boosters because people who already know but are not complete must care about themselves," he said.
