Iming-iming Bansos Plus Anies-Imin: Add BLT Value To Social Assistance For Heads Of Women's Families

JAKARTA - Candidate pair number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, introduced the Bansos Plus program which will be implemented if they win the 2024 presidential election.

Explained by the Spokesperson for the National Team for Winning Anies-Muhaimin (Timnas AMIN) Surya Tjandra, the lure of Bansos Plus includes the addition of nominal assistance to the addition of the number of beneficiaries.

Surya explained, if the Social Assistance Plus is carried out, Anies-Cak Imin will add a nominal cash direct assistance (BLT) for the elderly and with disabilities from the previous Rp200 thousand to Rp300 thousand per month.

Not only that, the number of recipients of KIP Lectures and the nominal assistance of KIP distributed during President Joko Widodo's leadership will also be increased.

"Currently, the recipients of the KIP Lecture benefit 900 thousand people. AMIN's offer plus its recipient is 1.9 million people," said Surya.

"Currently, students at the end of (6 elementary school, 3 junior high school, 3 high school) only get half the amount of assistance they should. The student's AMIN offer at the end of level (6 elementary school, 3 junior high school, 3 high school) can additional assistance of IDR 500 thousand to cover the need for additional costs when going up to school level," he added.

Then, Bansos Plus added a new group of beneficiaries, namely the head of the woman's family. "11.44 million families in Indonesia are headed by women who almost half have salaries below Rp. 500 thousand/month. Currently, there is no special social assistance program targeting this group. AMIN's offer, Rp. 500 thousand per month," said Surya.

Previously, Anies Baswedan's presidential candidate announced the Social Assistance Plus program that would be run if he was elected president in 2024.

According to Anies, the social assistance distribution program that has been run in the government of President Joko Widodo needs to be improved in quality.

If he and Muhaimin Iskandar win the 2024 presidential election, Anies claims that the distribution of the ongoing social assistance will continue, with improvements.

"We will make sure that those who have not received it, then they can receive it. Because there are still many complaints from residents who should receive it, but not yet," said Anies.

"Then the type of service. We want the service to be faster, then also additional services that are supporting in nature so that social assistance recipients can immediately advance to class," he added.
