West Java Police Holds TKP Processing Of Handoyo Bus Accident On Cipali Toll Road
JAKARTA - The West Java Police held a crime scene processing for the Handoyo Bus accident on the Cipali Toll Road today, Saturday, December 16.
"TKP investigations were carried out together with the National Police Traffic Corps using TAA (Traffic Accident Analysis) equipment," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Ibrahim Tompo, Saturday, December 16.
His party has also coordinated with Jasa Raharja to ensure that the victims get insurance for accidents.
The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Ibrahim Tompo, explained the chronology of the incident, on Friday, December 15, the bus from PO Handoyo drove at a speed of 80 km/hour.
"The PO Handoyo Nopol AA 7626 OA bus vehicle driven by Brother Rinto drove from Cirebon to Cikampek, upon arrival at the KM 72 Interchange route B carrying 18 passengers and 3 bus crews at 80km/hour," said Ibrahim, Saturday, December 16.
"When entering the interchange, it is suspected that the driver could not control his vehicle and then swerved left and overturned tilted on the track. The final position of the reverse vehicle was tilted across the East," continued Ibrahim.
As a result of this accident, temporary data received by the police was reported that 12 people died, 2 people were injured and 7 people were slightly injured.

As previously reported, the West Java Regional Police (Polda) stated that the driver lost control of being the cause of the bus accident at the Handoyo PO which overturned on the Cipali Toll Road, Purwakarta Regency, West Java (West Java), Friday, December 15 afternoon.
"Arriving at the TKP (the crime scene) when driving on the road that was sideways to the left, it was suspected that the driver was not in anticipation so that the vehicle swayed uncontrollably into the guardrail. Then the vehicle overturned tilted, the left wheel above on the road facing the south," said the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo.
The driver of the PO Handoyo bus has now been secured, while the dead and injured as well as the bus that had an accident have been evacuated.
