Collaboration X Presents Coastal Irama Through Iga Massardi Collaboration, The Panturas, Lorjhu And Putra Sriwijaya

JAKARTA - Collaboration X is back with a third edition. Still led by Iga Massardi, this time the voice guitarist invited The Panturas, Lorjhu and Putra Sriwijaya to collaborate.

Iga said that this edition collaboration really wanted to be distinguished from the previous two editions. Through discussions, the team decided that the third edition was carried out outdoors with elements of Indonesian nature.

"After thinking about it, we finally chose Anyer Beach to be a shooting location. We want to bring the coastal atmosphere to collaboration this time," said Iga Massardi at a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta, Friday, December 15.

After the Coastal Irama was chosen as the third edition of Collaboration X, Iga Massardi chose a music group that was considered to represent the nuances of the coast, namely The Panturas, Lorjhu and Putra Sriwijaya. This collaboration also presents the color of Indonesian traditions.

"We think it would be fun if we brought traditional elements from the area from Lorjhu in Madura. Yes, we finally entered dances, tigers and saronen instruments (music instruments from Madura)," said Iga.

Although this collaboration presents many musical colors, every musician and group remains in their respective music characters. The Panturas remains on contemporary surfing rock music, and Lorjhu on folk rock music with Maduran ethnic music.

Present in the form of audio-visual works uploaded to YouTube, collaborators in Coastal Irama performed four songs, namely Can Macan, and Abhantal Ombak from Lorjhu, as well as Daya Tipu, and Mistik Tafsir from The Panturas.

Coastal rhythm also features various traditional arts such as the Can Macan dance which is a dance from Madura, as well as the Hadrah dance which is a combination dance of Islamic culture from East Java.
