Karangasem Attorney General's Office Speeds Up Case Of Alleged Corruption, House Renovation To Investigate Mask Procurement
KARANGASEM - The Karangasem Public Prosecutor's Office (Kejari), Bali, is speeding up the handling of suspected corruption cases. The corruption cases include the OTDW, house renovation in Tianyar and allegations of mask procurement irregularities.
"There are several allegations of corruption cases currently being handled by the Karangasem Prosecutor's Office, including the case of tourism objects and attractions (ODTW), house renovations and the most recent alleged irregularities in mask procurement activities by the Karangasem Social Service for all sub-districts in Karangasem," said Kasiswa. The OTDW case has entered the case file transfer stage (P21). Meanwhile, the alleged house renovation case is still under investigation in collaboration with the BPKP in calculating state losses.
"The cases that are currently being handled will continue to be resolved, where there are several cases that have entered the P21 stage, such as the ODTW (Tourism Objects and Attractions) case, the house renovation case in Tianyar which was a grant from the district. Badung, valued at Rp20,250 billion, has entered the stage of investigation and deepening in collaboration with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) in calculating State losses (KN), "said Aji Kalbu.
Aji Kalbu explained that the Karangasem Kejari also received reports from the public regarding irregularities in the procurement of masks by the Social Service. The Karangasem Prosecutor's Intelligence Team is still doing research.
"For the most recent, there is a report from the public regarding the alleged irregularity in the procurement of masks by the Karangasem Regency Social Service, with a procurement value of Rp. 2.9 billion, which is currently being investigated by the Intelligence of the Karangasem State Prosecutor's Office," he explained.
