JAKARTA - The National Police said they had not yet determined sanctions against The Police Commissioner (Kompol) Yuni Purwanti who was involved in a drug case because She was still considering various things. Including, track record during his service as a member of the Police.
"Every member of the National Police certainly has achievements, how many years has She served, was he 20 years in service. Then She never committed a violation, then what kind of violation did She commit? Is She just a new user? We'll see her track record. of those concerned how", said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Thursday, February 18.
"This is the consideration and policy of the decision by the National Police to give punishment to those concerned", he continued.
So far, Kompol Yuni Purwanti is still undergoing an intensive examination. Later the results of the examination will also affect the decision to impose sanctions.
"Kompol YP and 11 of its members are currently in the West Java Regional Police's Division of Profession and Internal Security (Propam) examination and the urine test has been carried out on the concerned and the results are positive," he said.
In addition, Kompol Yuni Purwanti has also been removed from her position as Police Chief Astana Anyar. The removal was based on Secret Telegram Letter (STR) number 267/II/KEP./2021 dated February 17, 2021.
"So yesterday, the person concerned was removed from her position", he said.
Previously, West Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Dofiri emphasized that his party would impose sanctions. However, witnesses were given after his party conducted an examination.
