Health Office Reminds Central Java Residents To Be Disciplined In Clean Behavior Anticipating COVID-19
JATENG - The Central Java Provincial Health Office (Central Java) appealed to residents to carry out clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) to anticipate the spread of COVID-19 that has spread again.
Head of the Central Java Health Office, Yunita Dyah Suminar, said that his party had in principle coordinated the problem of the re-emergence of the spread of COVID-19 with the district/city Health Office, the Education Office, the Community and Village Empowerment Service (Dispermades), and the Office of Women's Empowerment for Child Protection and Family Planning (DP3AKB).
"We had a meeting via Zoom a week ago. We have made a circular letter from the Regional Secretary of Central Java Province to anticipate COVID-19," he said in Semarang, Wednesday.
According to him, the new variant of COVID-19 currently developing has a low level of hospitality, so treatment rooms in hospitals are not needed.
Nevertheless, he appealed to the public to continue to behave in a clean and healthy manner as an effort to anticipate the spread of COVID-19.
"Don't forget to use masks responsibly because if we are sick, of course we don't want to infect other people. So this mask is responsible," he said.

In addition, he continued, things that were done during the COVID-19 pandemic such as washing hands with soap must be emphasized again, especially for people who have comorbidities or comorbidities.
He said that currently in Central Java there are four people who are known to be positive for COVID-19 and are in good condition.
"There is something positive based on the results of the PCR test but it is not yet known whether the new variant or the old variant is because it has to go through an examination. Therefore, people still have to be vigilant but don't panic," he said.
