Former Head Of Batuwinangun OKU Village Becomes Suspect Of Corruption In Agrarian Land Certificate 2021

The Prosecutor's Office has named the former Head of Batuwinangun Village with the initials SP as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of illegal levies (extortion) in the manufacture of land certificates for the 2021 Agrarian Reform Redistribution Program.

"The SP suspect is suspected of making illegal levies in making land certificates for the 2021 Agrarian Reform Redistribution Program of approximately 700 parcels in Batuwinangun Village, Lubuk Raja District, OKU Regency (Ogan Komering Ulu Regency)," said Head of Special Investigation Unit of the OKU District Attorney's Office, Yerry Tri Mulyawan in Baturaja, Wednesday, December 13, confiscated by Antara.

He said SP was named a suspect after undergoing a long examination by the OKU Kejari investigators.

"After being named a suspect, we immediately made arrests. Currently, we have entrusted the suspect to the Baturaja Rutan for the next 20 days," he said.

Yerry explained that the alleged corruption case began when the suspect SP as the Head of Batuwinangun Village accommodated the 2021 Agrarian Reform Redistribution Program in his village.

Where in January 2022 a team from BPN OKU Regency conducted socialization to some residents of Batuwinangun Village regarding the central government program.

In essence, he continued, the suspect set a joint agreed fee of Rp. 500,000 per certificate to the residents who would register for the program.

To launch the action, the suspect issued Batuwinangun Village Head Regulation Number 03 of 2021 concerning Land Administration and after participating in the 2021 Agrarian Reform Redistribution program.

For his actions, the suspect will be charged with Article 12 letter e of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption as amended and supplemented by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.

Or the two Article 11 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended and supplemented by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.
