As Planned, Suzuki EVX Launches In 2025 With A Tempuh Distance Of 550 Km
JAKARTA - In January 2023, Maruti Suzuki released the EVX at Maruti Suzuki Pavilion at Auto Expo 2023. This car is Suzuki's first global strategic all-electric concept SUV (EV). The plan will be introduced to the market in 2025.
After a few months, this concept car became increasingly the subject of discussion because it was often caught on camera doing testing and news about the eVX being launched is getting hotter.
But the latest news from Rahul Bharti, Executive Director of Maruti Suzuki, confirmed that the eVX, Suzuki's first electric SUV, will launch in the 2025 financial year and will also be exported to various countries.
"Our first EV, an SUV, will launch in the following financial year (2025). Currently, the SMG facility in Hansalpur has three factories A, B, and C. Now, to produce EVs, new production lines will be added," said Rahul Bharti.
Although there are no exact figures regarding the number of units to be launched, Bharti emphasized that this car will remain an SUV with high specifications.
"This will be a high-capacity SUV that has a range of 550 km with a battery of 60 kWh," he added.

Suzuki Maruti plans to assemble the car at the Hansalpur Suzuki Motor Gujarat (SMG) facility, a Suzuki India subsidiary operating since 2017. The futuristic design of the EVX with sharp curves and a 'Y' patterned headlights creates a dashing look from various angles.
EVX is the result of a collaboration between Suzuki and Toyota. As part of this partnership, there will also be a similar-based electricity version of the Toyota brand under the name Urban Concept SUV.
