Ganjar Affirms Protecting Democracy And Brushing Corruption
JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo, Presidential Candidate 2024 number 3 appeared firmly when delivering his vision and mission in the first presidential candidate debate at the General Elections Commission (KPU). He and Mahfud MD are committed to upholding democracy and eradicating corruption.
Ganjar alluded that democratization in Indonesia is not okay. Freedom of opinion is still not going as it should be. This is because there are still discriminatory people who are critical.
"I heard when democratization had to run and we had to take care of it together. There was Sinta's mother when she expressed her opinion that she had to deal with the security forces. There was Melki, the head of BEM whose mother had to be examined," said Ganjar.
In the future, Ganjar ensures that there will be no more discriminatory actions. And, the government must be more open to criticism and suggestions.
"So something like this must end. And they will get the goods if the government occurs," he said.
According to the white-haired politician, this firm attitude can run well if the government is clean and accommodative to the aspirations of the people.
"All of this can work if the clean government can accommodate and we brush corruption not with words but with seriousness," he added.
The presidential candidate promoted by the PDI-P, PPP, Hanura and Perindo added that he is very confident that he will be able to bring improvement to democratization and law enforcement with Mahfud MD.
"Pak Mahfud is my partner who has been the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs executed it well. So we do that, we ask for the support of the people to order us to do that," he said.
