Anies' Son: If I Want To Do Politics, I Will Take The Right Way

JAKARTA - Anies presidential candidate Rasyid Baswedan, Mikail Baswedan, said he had not planned to enter politics even though he did not rule out pursuing a political career in the way he considered to be right.

This was conveyed by Mikail when answering a question from the Chairman of the Indonesian Youth Generation Board of Trustees (GEN-AMIN) Ahmad Sahroni, at the declaration of the volunteer network at Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), South Jakarta, Monday.

"Gibran used to talk the same way. Do you want to do politics or not?" asked Sahroni as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 11.

Suddenly the question was also answered straightforwardly by Mikail.

"I don't have a plan yet, but if it seems as if I really want to enter politics, of course through the right process and path," said Mikail, who was immediately greeted by applause from hundreds of volunteers who were present at the event location.

Mikail admitted that until now he has not been interested in entering politics. However, he also said he would study a lot until he matured, if later he would do politics.

The 23-year-old emphasized that the process towards politics cannot be done instantly, because everything takes time to reach maturity to think and act.

Meanwhile, in the declaration activity, Ahmad Sahroni as a Nasdem Party politician who supports the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) conveyed the vision and mission of change to millennials, especially students present.

The Nasdem treasurer had a dialogue with the volunteers who attended, in order to strengthen their orientation to win the AMIN candidate pair.
