Out Of The Assembly Line, 300C Marks Farewell To Phenomenal Chrysler 300
JAKARTA - First introduced in 1955 and reborn in 2005, Chrysler 300 has represented American luxury and car performance for decades.
Meanwhile, the 300C-powered Hemi V8 model introduced in 1957 also has an important function in the 300 lineup as one of the first muscle cars.
The latest news of this phenomel series is that the final 300 edition or closing 300 series has come out of production lines at the Brampton Assembly Plant, Ontario, Canada, marked by a red-velt Chrysler 300C model.
The end of all production activities of 300c was announced on the company's official website which will end on December 31, 2023.
"With the celebration of the last 300C HEMI-powered out of the production line with the Brampton team members, we are also excited to move forward with Chrysler towards a sustainable all-electric future as part of Stellantis Dare Forward 2030's strategic plan," said Chris Feuell, Chief Executive of the Chrysler Brand.
Please note, for Chrysler 300 generations, it was first launched in 2014, until he was almost ten years old. However, the appearance and technology remain charming when compared to competitors who have released new editions such as Cadillac CT5 and Lexus ES.
As for the 300C model, at the North American International Auto Show 2022 exhibition, Chrysler released a version of the special edition of the 300C or the last version of the 300 line at once to pay tribute to the first edition of the 300C.
Interestingly at the time of the exhibition, the reservation for the Chrysler 300C 2023 special edition was fulfilled in just 12 hours with a limited production amount of only 2,000 units offered in the US and 200 units available in Canada.
The latest 300C edition has Chrysler's Hemi V8 6.4 liter. The V8 engine generates 485 dk of power and 644 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 0-96 km/hour acceleration can be achieved with a time of 4.3 seconds with the highest speed of the car being 257 km/hour.
For braking, 300C has a four-piston Brembo brake with a red calibre, a limited back-slip differential of 3.09, and an active damping suspension, and a black round exhaust tip that features an active disposal system and produces violent sound.
"We are proud to call Chrysler 300C a true automotive icon, one of the original muscle cars representing American luxury," added Chris Feuell.
The exterior carries black chromo accents on the bottom grip and fascia, plus headlamp bezels and black tadaves. Inside, the front seat is coated with black Laguna skin broken with the new 300C logo.
Our workforce at the Braveton Assembly has a reputation for building high-quality vehicles, and Chrysler 300C is no different from the work and details of all the 2,200 units that slid off our assembly line in 2023 concluded Alex Pittas, Factory Manager, Brampton Assembly.
