The Movement Of Christmas And New Year 2024 Is Predicted By 107 Million People, Jokowi Asks For Preparation For Matang Transportation
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo asked his staff to prepare well for Christmas and New Year's 2024 transportation, including supply and distribution of basic commodities.
This is one of the points conveyed by the President in his introduction to the Plenary Cabinet Session at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, December 11.
"This is a routine, but whatever (it) is, it must still be planned, it must be prepared, namely Christmas and New Year. The Coordinating Minister is to prepare it really, especially those related to transportation," said Jokowi.
He reminded, in addition to transportation, other things that need to be prepared include supply and distribution of basic materials.
The President said it was estimated that there would be 107 million movement of people in Christmas in 2023 and New Year's 2024.
"Because from the calculation of the last survey there will be approximately 107 million movements of people in this Christmas and New Year," he said.
