Gibran Buys Chili At Pasar Rumput, Offers From Rp120 Thousand To Rp97 Thousand/Kilogram

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka bought chili when blusukan to Pasar Rumput, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

Initially, Gibran asked the current price of chili to reach Rp120,000 per kilo. The Mayor of Solo bid at a price of Rp97 thousand per kilo.

"How much is the cash now, isn't it Rp 97 thousand? Where does it come from (Rp120,000). Usually how much? Usually, it's that much (Rp97 thousand). 97 thousand, yes, I bought all of them," said Gibran at Pasar Rumput, Jakarta, Monday, December 11.

"How many kilos are there? Weigh first, weigh first, don't take people first, hang on first," he continued.

Suddenly there were women who claimed to be together from Solo. But Gibran told Sukoharjo was not Solo.

"It's the same with the Solo people," said the mother.

"Sukaharjo is not Solo," added Gibran.

Journalists had asked Gibran if the chilies were really bought. However, Gibran wants the chilies to be priced as usual, namely Rp. 97 thousand, not Rp. 120 thousand.

"Ntar ya interviewnya nanti. Jadi berapa. Aku tadi beli di luar Rp97 ribu. Ini ya bayar ini ya," kata Gibran.
