North Sulawesi Governor Promises Clean Government, No Deviation
MANADO - North Sulawesi Governor Olly Dondokambey said that all parties must work together if they want to see development in North Sulawesi more advanced.
"We are optimistic that we will be able to carry out our duties and responsibilities, answer the people's mandate optimally and provide significant development in Bumi Nyiur Melambai with the synergy and involvement of all components of North Sulawesi society," said Governor Olly in Manado as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 17.
Olly gave her first speech at the DPRD North Sulawesi plenary session after being inaugurated by President Joko Widodo along with Deputy Governor Steven Kandouw on Monday, February 15.
"This momentum is a joy not only for Steven and me, who have been entrusted by the people of North Sulawesi to continue their leadership for the next three years, but also for all of us," he said.
Therefore, Olly invites all levels of North Sulawesi society to jointly answer this challenge for the sake of common welfare.
"This is a warning to all parties not to abuse the national projects that are being implemented in North Sulawesi or assistance from the central government for regional development.
"We must be vigilant, not as euphoria, lest we get involved in things that cause irregularities that violate our pledge of office," he said.
