Youth In Makassar Arrested For Stealing Basic Food, The Money Is Paying For A Contract All The Game Chips
MAKASSAR - A man with the initials A (24) was arrested by the police for stealing basic necessities stored in a car in Makassar City, South Sulawesi (Sulsel).
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Makassar Police, Iptu Syamsul Tompo, said the theft of basic necessities occurred on Monday, February 15. The loot is sold to buy domino game chips and pay rent.
"The result will be to pay rent and buy chips," said Iptu Syamsul Tompo, to reporters, Wednesday, February 17.
The perpetrator acts with his friend who is now under police chase. A number of foods including soft drinks were stolen.
"Canned biscuits, canned sprites (were also stolen)," he said.
The theft occurred because the perpetrator saw an opportunity when passing on the road. The perpetrator opened the pickup tent and stole the item.
The stolen items were sold at the Makassar Terong Market. The results are also shared with the perpetrators who are being chased by the police.
The perpetrator of the theft has been prosecuted by law as a suspect.
