JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) continues its positive trend. Thursday, March 5, the JCI opened up 38.64 points or 0.68 percent to 5,688.78.
Starting today's trading, there are 38 stocks rising, 1 stock weakening, and 6 stocks stagnant. Trade transactions reached IDR 35.29 billion from 10.08 million shares traded.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Nafan Aji Gusta Utama also predicts that the JCI will increase today. "There is potential for further strengthening in the JCI movement, so that it has the opportunity to go to the resistance area," he said.
Based on technical analysis, the index would have the chance to be in the resistance range 5,688-5,747. On the one hand, JCI is also predicted to move in the support area of 5,579-5,518.
This morning, the stocks that entered the top gainers, namely PT Alfa Energi Investama Tbk (FIRE) rose IDR14 or 8.14 percent to IDR186, shares of PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) rose IDR525 or 7.05 percent to IDR7,975 , and shares of PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk (BWPT) increased by IDR 6 or 5.83 percent to IDR 109.
As for the stocks that entered the top losers, among others, shares of PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) fell IDR 12 or 4.35 percent to IDR 264, shares of PT DMS Propertindo Tbk (KOTA) rose IDR 25 or 3.57 percent to IDR 675, and shares of PT. Sentral Mitra Informatika Tbk (LUCK) decreased by IDR 15 or 2.5 percent to IDR585.
